Here are the basics.

I graduated in May from the University of Missouri School of Journalism where I studied Strategic Communication, a degree that taught me how to write, how to strategize and how to think creatively.
Now? I'm trying to combine my background in advertising and PR with my love for social media, graphic design, and food.

Let's talk experience.

I held 5 internships & 5 part time jobs in college, everything from a campus tour guide, to a PR intern in Chicago, to a digital intern in London.

At Zapwater Communications in Chicago, I researched client placements, planned and worked publicity events and compiled media clips for clients like Room and Board, Marriott, and Virgin Hotels.
At WMA in London, I helped manage social media accounts for clients like Ellie Goulding, Years & Years and Viber. I designed graphics for tour announcements and social posts.
At BarkleyUS in Kansas City, I wrote copy for clients like Spirit Airlines and Wingstop. I worked on three months of social content for TAKE5, a Hershey candy bar. Our intern team designed a integrated marketing campaign for Spirit and pitched it to the airline's executives at the end of the summer.
At WSA Europe, I planned social media content and helped develop social campaigns.
At Influence & Co., I learned the ins and outs of content marketing by researching industry publications to publish our C-Suite executive clients' thought leadership content.

Design Work

Enhance Mizzou

In Spring 2017 I worked on a successful campaign to promote a proposed student fee to the University of Missouri student body. We named the campaign "Enhance Mizzou", and because the fee would give money to many different areas of campus, I designed the logo in a mosaic pattern to symbolize the different parts of campus represented in one fee. Through Twitter and Facebook campaigns we garnered thousands of impressions in 6 weeks to eventually break the school record for voter turnout and successfully pass the fee.

International Empowerment Project

In 2017 I branded International Empowerment Project, a nonprofit that delivers aid to orphanages in Juarez, Mexico. The project included logo, brand colors, brochure and magazine.

Weekend Student Adventures

Weekend Student Adventures (WSA) is a startup European travel company that plans insanely fun weekend trips for study abroad students. To capture the unique spirit of each city, I proposed this Instagram design, which showcases the best parts of each city to show students a glimpse of what they'll experience if they book a trip through WSA. I've always been one to collect keepsakes when traveling or even just going to a movie, so I imagined this project as a collage of all the little things (patches, currency, postcards) and memories (underground clubs, John Lennon wall, swans on the River) that I took home from Prague.

Advertising

Throughout my many advertising classes in college, I designed and wrote ads to captivate consumers through eye-catching art and creative copywriting. These are a few of my favorites from throughout the years.

Photography

My semester abroad spurred my love for photography, and I'm always antsy for a creative side project. At the end of my senior year, I started a freelance photography business taking graduation photos for seniors at Mizzou.
